I seem to recall Zeratul being kinda a hoopy frood too.

Zeratul is, alas, Not The Same in Starcraft 2. Also Kerrigan is very much diminished from her Brood War glory days (but she wouldn't be on the raft, due to not being a Protoss).

But yeah, Fenix and Zeratul seem better choices than Aldaris or Tassadar.
